Lifting Rules!

Men lift 1.5x their bodyweight, women lift their bodyweight.

Lifting belt and chalk are allowed.  

No straps or deadlift suits allowed.

You may rest no longer than 10 seconds in between successful repetitions. 

When your hands leave the bar, your attempt is over.

A completed rep requires that both sides of the bar touch the floor before being brought up to a locked-out position.

Join Orlando Barbell in a deadlift event to raise money for CECO, a center where children and adults with motor disabilities can improve their mobility and independence. Women lift their body weight and men lift 1.5x their body weight.
