About the Conductive Education Center of Orlando
Since 2001, The Conductive Education Center of Orlando (CECO) has been providing hope for families with children and adults with cerebral palsy and neurological motor disabilities that have been searching for a place where the impossible IS possible. CECO offers eight programs to address every age group for these lifelong conditions, so progress is continually a goal!
Conductive Education is a multidisciplinary approach to achieve each individual’s greatest level of independence through physical, cognitive and social activities. CECO is the only conductive education program in the state of Florida and one of the largest programs in the United States.
CECO’s primary goal is to increase the physical, social, and academic independence of people with motor disabilities and currently serves over 100 families from around the world each year.

Life Skills Instructor (Adult Program)

Job Summary: Support adults with motor disabilities in developing independence, confidence, and essential life skills. This role focuses on leading engaging, structured activities that promote daily living skills, job readiness, and community integration.
The ideal candidate brings experience working with adults with motor disabilities, along with strong communication, creativity, and a collaborative mindset. Responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized and group programming, tracking participant progress, and working closely with a multidisciplinary team to support each individual’s goals. *On-site Training Provided*

Job Summary: CECO is seeking a passionate Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Teacher to provide individualized and small-group instruction to students with neurological motor disabilities through Conductive Education. This full-time role includes collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, implementing differentiated instruction, tracking student progress, and supporting individualized goals. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, an ESE Endorsement, and strong classroom management and communication skills, with the ability to support students’ physical and daily living needs.

CECO Internship
Job Type: Part-Time

Job Summary: CECO offers college students a unique, hands-on internship experience working with children and adults diagnosed with cerebral palsy. This program is ideal for undergraduate students pursuing degrees in related fields. Interns gain 200 hours of direct, hands-on experience, building practical skills in a supportive, real-world environment. Upon completion, participants receive a Certificate of Completion and may have opportunities for future employment with CECO. Interns are expected to commit 10–12 hours per week and must be able to pass a VECHS Level 2 background check before starting. This role also requires the physical ability to kneel, stand, bend, crouch, and assist with lifting, pushing, and pulling students and objects up to 60 lbs.
