The start of a new year often brings reflection. It allows us to look back with gratitude and forward with intention. This year holds special significance as CECO celebrates 25 years of empowering children and adults with neurological motor disabilities through Conductive Education.
For twenty-five years, our focus has been steady and meaningful growth. At CECO, progress is not defined by comparison or timelines, but by consistent effort and forward movement.
Growth looks different for everyone; it may be stronger posture during daily tasks, everyday confidence when transitioning between activities, clearer communication, or increased independence in routines. To some, these milestones may seem small. To our families, they are life changing.
That spirit of growth was beautifully reflected at our recent Night of Dreams Gala. Families, supporters, and friends gathered to celebrate the impact of CECO’s mission and the incredible progress of our students. Together, our community raised over $322,000 to support the Pete and Lynn DiPasqua Student Scholarship Fund. This vital fund helps ensure families can access the services their children need, regardless of financial barriers.

Through Conductive Education, students engage in structured routines, group motivation, and purposeful repetition. Over time, they build strength, coordination, communication skills, and confidence. But the impact goes far beyond physical progress; students gain independence and a greater belief in themselves.

As we celebrate 25 years, we remain committed to what has always defined CECO: focusing on abilities, embracing possibility, and walking alongside our families every step of the way.
