CECO Receives $68,500 Grant from the Honda USA Foundation to Expand Accessibility Through “I’M Possible” Campaign

We are excited to announce that we have been awarded a $68,500 grant from the Honda USA Foundation to support our “I’M Possible” Campaign—an initiative designed to break down barriers and create more inclusive learning and therapy environments for individuals with neurological motor disabilities.

“This grant will enable CECO to make essential mobility modifications and accommodations, as well as invest in assistive technology that enhances accessibility for the children, teens, and adults we serve,” said Dr. Krisztina Weiszhaupt, Executive Director. “Thanks to Honda USA Foundation’s support, we are one step closer to building a world where all individuals have the tools and support they need to thrive.”

The Honda USA Foundation’s funding will help implement classroom and facility upgrades that prioritize physical access and learning equity. These enhancements include assistive technology devices, adaptive equipment, and mobility solutions that empower CECO participants to engage more fully in our programs.

“We are honored to partner with the Honda USA Foundation in this important work,” said Weiszhaupt. “Their commitment to mobility, education, and equity aligns perfectly with CECO’s mission and values. Together, we are creating real, lasting change.”
