CECO Receives Transformational $150,000 Grant from the Big Nova Foundation for Adult Day Program

We are thrilled to announce that CECO has been awarded a generous $150,000 grant from the Big Nova Foundation in support of our Adult Program. This incredible gift will allow us to expand and enhance our life skills programming, providing even more meaningful opportunities for adults with neurological motor disabilities to build independence and confidence.

Thanks to the Big Nova Foundation’s investment, CECO will upgrade vital technology in our Adult Program classroom, including the addition of an interactive smart board. This state-of-the-art tool will transform the way our instructors and participants engage with daily lessons, encouraging interactive learning and improving accessibility. The funding will also support new curriculum enhancements focused on essential life skills.

“Our Adult Program has grown significantly in recent years, and this grant will help us take it to the next level,” said Sarah Clark, Director of Development. “We are deeply grateful to the Big Nova Foundation for believing in our mission and supporting adults with disabilities in leading fuller, more independent lives.”

CECO’s Adult Program is a unique offering in Central Florida and beyond, using Conductive Education to build physical, cognitive, and social skills for individuals ages 18 and up. The program empowers participants to live more independently, while also providing vital support and resources for their families.

The Big Nova Foundation’s partnership with CECO will have a lasting impact on the lives of the adults we serve. Together, we are breaking barriers and building a more inclusive future.

Thank you, Big Nova Foundation, for helping CECO continue to transform lives—one step, one skill, one success at a time.
